Former Winn Resident Dies In Baton Rouge

Miss Sadie Gilcrease, a former resident of Winnfield, died May 7, at the Baton
Rouge General Hospital.  She was 74 and made her home with her sister, Mrs.
Walter B. Robert (Margaret Gilcrease) of 2341 Myrtle Street in Baton Rouge.

Graveside services were held Thursday, May 8, at 1 p.m. in the Winnfield
Cemetery.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. C. M. Bannerman of Shreveport and Mrs.
Walter Robert of Baton Rouge; three brothers, John R. Gilcrease of Shreveport,
P. G. Gilcrease of Chase, and O. E. Gilcrease of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; and a
number of nieces and nephews.
