Alwin Stokes officiating. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Acting as pallbearers were Welby Willis, George Porter, Charlie Ray, Jim Watts, Raymond Dubois, and Miley Walsworth. Born March 30, 1911 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Carl moved to Winnfield with his parents years ago. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Charles Gilstrap; three sisters, Mrs. E. E. Nash and Mrs. Norman Smith of Winnfield; and Mrs. A. V. Ratcliff of Minden; and three brothers, J. M. of Monroe, Bill of Winnfield, and Charles H. of Lamesa, Texas.
