C. Gilstrap, 45, Succumbs December 2 Funeral services for William C. Gilstrap, 45, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield with Dr. W. L. Holcomb officiating. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery. Gilstrap died at 8:30 a.m. Friday, December 2, 1966, in the VA Hospital in Alexandria. He was a veteran of World War II and a native of Dodson, La. Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Clara Gilstrap of Winnfield; a brother, J. M. Gilstrap of Monroe; three sisters, Mrs. Norman Smith and Mrs. E. E. Nash, both of Winnfield, and Mrs. A. W. Ratcliff of Minden. Pallbearers were Raymond Dubois, Arie Hughes, Jerry Bedgood, Robert Baker, Hovie Harrell, and Jack Plunkett.
