Mrs. Gimber died Sunday following a long illness. Born in Arcadia December 22, 1887, Mrs. Gimber made her home here for the past 15 years. Mrs. Harriet M. Berg of Shreveport was the Christian Science Reader at the funeral services. Burial was in Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Gimber is survived by five sons, W. B. Gimber of Winnfield, Garfield Gimber of Spring Valley, Calif., James P. Gimber of Jonesboro, Frank Gimber of Port Arthur, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Roberts of Winnfield and Mrs. Mathew Lauck of Pompton Lake, N. J.; 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers were O. O. Dickerson, D. C. Allen, J. W. Kennedy, Al Tracy, Rayford Lewis, W. H. Burford.
