B. Gimber, 63, Succumbs; Rites Held June 4 William B. Gimber, 63, of Winnfield, died Friday, June 2, 1972 in the Rapides General Hospital in Alexandria. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Hixson Brothers Chapel with the Rev. John Harris officiating, assisted by Rev. Charles Haley. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery. Mr. Gimber was a senior locomotive engineer with the Kansas City Southern Railroad and a member of the Laurel Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mildred Hamm Gimber; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Fuglaar of Pineville; two brothers, J. P. Gimber of Jonesboro and Frank Gimber of Winnfield; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Lauck of Pitman, New Jersey and Mrs. Mildred Roberts of Winnfield; two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pallbearers were J. R. Harrison, Ennis Roberts, Lee Melton, Harper Terrill, Randall Jordan, and Jim Russell.
