Last Rites For G. M. Gladden Are Held Sunday

G. M. Gladden, age 66 years, 3 months, 10 days, died in a Pineville hospital
Saturday after a brief illness.  Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Calvin
Roberson, were held Sunday afternoon at Antioch Church, Ward 10, in Winn
Parish, under the direction of the Southern Funeral Home.

Mr. Gladden was born in Georgia and reared in Missouri.  He had been residing
in Winnfield for the past two years.

Surviving are his two daughters, Mrs. Laurel Martin of Goldonna and Mrs.
Minnie Malone of Winnfield, and four stepdaughters, Mrs. Lawrence Alford of
Winnfield, Mrs. Hadley Chestnut of Bay Harbor, Fla., Mrs. Conrad Miller of
Tallulah, La., and Mrs. Carson Martin of Saline.
