Glathery, age 21, of Ruston, engineer on a U. S. survey crew at the Army Air Gunnery, Panama City, Fla., was drowned June 24, while surveying in deep water, it has been learned. Complete details on the drowning were not given thought it was termed accidental. Glathery was a nephew of Mrs. H. E. Powell of Winnfield and Mrs. R. A. Norred of Dodson, who with their families attended funeral services in Ruston Wednesday afternoon, June 25.
