W. M. Gilmore Succumbs At His Home in the Beulah Community

W. M. Gilmore, age 71 years, 11 months, and 9 days succumbed at his home in
the Zion Community Monday, January 4, 1937.  Funeral services were conducted
at Zion Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. with Rev. C. R. McCartney in charge.

The deceased was born in 1865, and had resided in that section of the parish
for many years.  He was a farmer and had been a member of the Zion Church
since 1916.

Surviving the deceased are his widow, Mrs. Zora Gilmore, and four children,
Mrs. Mary Hamlet of Red Fish, La., Mrs. H. E. Killen of Georgetown, La., W. D.
Gilmore of Goldonna and H. M. Gilmore of Trout; twelve grandchildren and two
great grandchildren also survive.
