Grandma Goetzman, as she was known by those who knew her, had been a resident of Joyce since the establishment of the camp some 14 years ago. She was highly esteemed and loved by all. Mrs. Goetzman was 72 years of age. She leaves all her family of ten children and some thirty grandchildren. Besides the husband, Frank Goetzman, the following children survive: six daughters and four sons: Mrs. Edward Stevens, Picayune, Miss.; Miss Mary Goetzman, Joyce; Mrs. Henrietta Bailey, Port Arthur, Texas; Mr. Willie Goetzman, Pitkin, La.; Mrs. Guy Pangburn, Joyce; Mrs. J. E. Mayo, California; Frankie Goetzman, Diboll, Texas; Mrs. Bryan Sheffield, Picayune, Miss.; Eugene Goetzman, Picayune, Miss.; Herman Goetzman, Picayune, Miss.
