Goldonna Native Dies In Shreveport

A. L. Golden of Shreveport died Friday, October 19, 1973 in Physicians and
Surgeons Hospital after a sudden illness.  He was 68.

A native of Goldonna, he had lived in Shreveport for 39 years and was a
barber.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Osborn Funeral Home
Chapel.  The Rev. James W. Taylor, pastor of Highland Baptist Church, 
officiated.  Burial was in the Goldonna Cemetery.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. A. L. Golden of Shreveport; a son, M. L.
Golden of San Diego, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. G. C. Barmore of Farmerville;
and nine grandchildren.
