Funeral Rites For Mrs. Minnie M. Golden Held

Mrs. Minnie Mixon Golden, 86, of Jonesboro, died at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March
10, 1969 in a Ruston hospital after a brief illness.

She is survived by a son, H. W. G. Golden of Shreveport; five daughters, Mrs.
R. S. Gates of Shreveport, Mrs. H. B. Shepperd of Lake Charles and Mrs. Ernest
Bishop, Mrs. Dawson Barr, and Mrs. Earl Cannon, all of Jonesboro; one
brother, Jepp Mixon of Goldonna; two sisters, Mrs. T. M. Carson and Mrs. Ethel
Lattier of Winnfield; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Jonesboro Methodist Church
with Rev. G. E. Blakely officiating.  Burial was in Garden of Memories
Cemetery in Jonesboro.
