Last Rites For C. D. Golden Held At Sanders Chapel

Last rites for C. D. Golden, 58, who died at his home in Jonesboro form a
heart attack, Tuesday, were held at Sanders Chapel near Calvin, Wednesday
afternoon under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.  The Rev. Mr. Moss of
Hineston and the pastor of the Jonesboro Methodist Church officiated.

Mr. Golden, a carpenter, was well known in this parish having lived most of
his life near Calvin and Goldonna.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Mixon Golden and the following sons
and daughters: Mrs. Relton Gates, Miss Nena Golden and Grady Golden of
Shreveport; Mrs. Dawson Barr, Mrs. Ernest Bishop, and Miss Blanchie Golden of
Jonesboro, and several sisters and brothers.
