OBITUARIES

Hargrove J. Gongre

Services for Hargrove J. Gongre were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Montgomery
Church of Christ with the Rev. Steve Dunn and Warren Ferrier officiating. 
Burial was in St. Maurice Cemetery, St. Maurice, under the direction of
Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield.

Gongre, 74, of Montgomery, died Thursday, December 1, 1988 in Alexandria
Veterans Administration Medical Center, Pineville.

Survivors include his wife, Reva Gongre of Montgomery; one stepson, Roy Roe of
Turkey Creek; five stepdaughters, Evelyene Fletcher, Earlene Roe, and Betty
Coolman, all of Montgomery; Delois Sibley of Natchitoches, and Billie Roe of
Houston, Texas; three sisters; and 13 stepgrandchildren.
