Winn Native Is Buried Nov. 13 In California

Funeral services for Mrs. Maude Creel Goodson were conducted November 13 in
Martinez, Calif.  Mrs. Goodson, a native of Winn Parish, moved to California
several years ago.  She died in her home in Martinez after suffering a heart
attack.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Goodson; ten children, and several
grandchildren of Martinez; her father, J. T. Creel of Dodson, Route 1; two
brothers, J. C. Creel of Dodson and Grady Creel of Natchez, Miss.; six
sisters, Mrs. E. M. Townsend of Winnfield, Mrs. Cecil McCarty of Dodson, Mrs.
Mary Evans of Bernice, Mrs. Pearl Bales of Shreveport, Mrs. Lottice Barnes
of New Orleans, and Mrs. Ola Thornton of Natchez, Miss.
