Last Rites For L. N. Goodwin Held February 13

Funeral services for L. N. Goodwin, 61, were held at 10 a.m. Feb. 13 in the
chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Winnfield with the Rev. Ralph
Frazier officiating.

Burial was in Alexandria Memorial Garden Cemetery.

Mr. Goodwin, a sawyer for Tremont Lumber Company, at Joyce, died Thursday
evening in a Winnfield hospital after a brief illness.

Survivors are his widow, a son, John Goodwin of Memphis, Tenn., a daughter,
Miss Cynthia Goodwin of Joyce; two sisters, Mrs. W. E. Simpson of Meridian,
Miss., and Miss Emmie Goodwin of Meridian, Miss.
