DROPPED DEAD. Called away without the slightest warning. J.T.F. Gorham, an aged citizen, expires suddenly-was doing his evening chores when he fell dead at the gate. Last Saturday evening the life of J.T.F. Gorham, an aged citizen of the southern portion of town, came to a sudden end without the least warning, and he joined the silent majority. He had been engaged in doing the evening chores about the place and had finished and started to go into the house when he suddenly dropped dead in the gate of his yard. It is supposed that heartfailure was the cause of death. He was a good old citizen, had lived an upright life of many years and was considered as honest and truthful as the days are long. By a frugal life he had accumulated some property and at his death owned several acres of land in the south end of town where he had a nice home. He leaves a wife and four children. The body was interred Monday.
