Final Rites For Mrs. Gordon Held Here January 5

Last rites for Mrs. Martha Bell Gordon, 70, of Winnfield, who died in a
Natchitoches convalescence home, January 2, were held Sunday, January 5, at 2
p.m. at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Eugene Langford
officiating.  Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Southern
Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gordon was a resident of Laurel Heights Community for many years.

Mrs. Gordon is survived by four sons, C. D. and H. W. Gordon, both of
Winnfield, G. L. Gordon of Glenmora, and R. A. Gordon of New Orleans; two
daughters, Mrs. Joyce Olsen, Manitoba, Minn., and Mrs. Mae Honeycutt, Lake
Charles; three brothers, Arthur Borland, Minden, W. H. Bourland, Natchitoches,
and Whit Borland, Jonesboro; three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Wilson, Quitman, Mrs.
Julia Terral, Mississippi, and Mrs. Jessie Gray, Shreveport; 12 grandchildren
and one great grandchild.
