Gore, 90, of Atlanta, died Saturday, February 27, 1971 at 9:30 a.m. in the Winnfield General Hospital following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Gore was a native of Bradley, Ark. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Atlanta Methodist Church with the Rev. McVay officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Survivors include a son, J. D. Gore of Plain Dealing; five daughters, Mrs. Juanita Patin, Mrs. Bill Carlisle, and Mrs. Margaret Poe, all of Houston, and Mrs. B. D. Ferguson of Atlanta and Mrs. Melvin Gresham of Winnfield; two sisters and one brother, 23 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and a number of great-great grandchildren. Active pallbearers were grandsons.
