Headline: Funeral Rites To Be Thurs. For Mrs. J. Gorham
Mrs. Mandie McDavid Gorham, 74, of Joyce, La., died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, 
November 7, 1967 in a local hospital.  She was a native of Winn Parish and a 
member of the Baptist Church.  Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday 
in East Winnfield Baptist Church with Rev. W. A. Wimbs and Rev. Harrison 
Cockerham officiating.  Interment, under the direction of Southern Funeral 
Home, will be in Old Union Cemetery.  Survivors are her husband, Jacob (Jake) 
Gorham of Joyce, five sons, Mack Gorham, Pineville, V. J. Gorham of Columbia, 
Woody and Jerry Gorham of Winnfield and James Gorham of Joyce.  Four 
daughters, Mrs. Raymond Sutton of Smithville, Texas, Mrs. Odell Myers of Olla, 
La., Mrs. James Bearden of Monroe, La., Mrs. Odell Lowery of Dodson, 25 
grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
