"Red" Gorham will be at 3 p.m. today in Central Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Bob Goodnight and Jim Shook officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Hixson Bros., Pineville. Gorham, 65, of Pineville died at 12:55 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 1993, in Rapides General Hospital. He was a native of Winnfield. He was a member and deacon of Central Missionary Baptist Church. He was retired from Western Electric Co. after 32 years and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Bruce Gorham of Pineville; one son, Michael A. Gorham of Pineville; two daughters, Rhonda Gorham Cormier of Hessmer and Paula Gorham Fealko of Eielson, AK; two brothers, Kenneth V. Gorham of Pineville and Harvey J. Gorham of Craig, CO; two sisters, Nell Gorham Blackstock of West Monroe and Lee Gorham Rachal of Natchitoches; three grandsons and seven granddaughters. Friends may call until 1 p.m. in the funeral home and from 2 p.m. until time of services today at the church. Memorials may be made to the Central Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund, 2527 Hanes Road, Pineville, La. 71360***************************************************************** In addition, we'd like to add the following information: He was preceded in death by a daughter: Lynne Renee Gorham. She was born on 10-24-55 and lived for two hours. She's buried by our father at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. She won't be forgotten. His parents, Clarence Edward Gorham, Sr. and Carrie Jenny McDavid Gorham are also buried by him. We find it very comforting to know that in life, he was surrounded by people who loved him and in death, he was buried beside people that he loved. Rest in peace, Daddy.
