Mrs. John Robert Gorham Dies Thursday Morning


Mrs. John Robert Gorham, age 37, died of a sudden heart attack at her home
Thursday morning about 7:30 o'clock.  She had undergone an appendectomy
exactly one week before.  

She was a member of the Baptist Church.  Surviving are her husband, John
Robert Gorham, three children, Winona, Billy, and Lawrence Gorham; mother,
Mrs. M. L. Page; four brothers, Wiley Page, and Dan Page, of Winnfield, Henry
Page of New Orleans, and Stevens Page of Port Arthur, Texas;  two sisters,
Mary Page of New Orleans and Mrs.  Clara Gray of Torrence, Calif.

Funeral arrangements had not been completed Thursday at noon for the reason
that the husband, who was working in Monroe, had not arrived at that time.
