Mrs. R. J. Gorham, 80, Succumbs; Rites Wednesday

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the East Winnfield Baptist
Church for Mrs. Estelle B. Gorham, 80, of Winnfield, who died Tuesday, July 9,
1974 at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandrian.

Mrs. Gorham was the widow of R. J. "Bobby" Gorham and a member of East
Winnfield Baptist Church.

The Rev. Jimmy Yocum officiated with burial in Gorham Cemetery under th
direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Leora Brazzell and Mrs. Laveria Jordan,
both of Winnfield, Mrs. Lavenia Allen of Shreveport, and Mrs. Elaine Grissom
of Fort Worth, Texas; two brothers, Ellis Babcock of Urania and Charles
Babcock of Oak Grove; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Coon of Athens, Ga., Mrs.
Kitty Cole of Urania, and Mrs. Houston Jordan of Winnfield; 12 grandchildren, 
14 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
