Julius T. Gorham

Services for Julius T. Gorham were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Southern
Funeral Home chapel.  Rev. Lamar Carpenter officiated.  Burial was in the
Gorhamtown Cemetery in Joyce, La.

Mr. Gorham, 78, died at 6:41 p.m., Saturday, June 17, 1995 in the Winn Parish
Medical Center in Winnfield, La.

Mr. Gorham was a native of Winnfield, La., and a veteran of World War II in
the U. S. Army.  He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Lessie Bruce Gorham of Winnfield; one son, Glynn
Gorham of Winnfield; five stepsons, Bobby Bruce, Bud Bruce, Don Bruce, Larry
Bruce, and Joe Bruce, all of Georgetown, La.; two stepdaughters, Beth Foster
and Carolyn Fife of Georgetown, La.; three grandchildren, Toby Gorham, Glynda
Carpenter, and Julia Thomas.

Pallbearers were Keith James, Mack Varnell, Jr., Bobby D. Creel, Joe Bruce,
Smiley Fife, and D. A. Green.
