Rev. A. D. Gorham Dies October 24; Burial Held Tues.

Funeral services for Rev. Aaron D. Gorham, 52, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in
Southern Funeral Home, with the Rev. J. A. Cockerham and the Rev. D. W.
McDaniel officiating.

Burial was in Old Union Cemetery at Joyce.

Rev. Gorham died at 8:15 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 1965 in a Shreveport 
hospital after a long illness.  He was a native of Winn Parish, and was a
retired wholesale dry goods clerk, and a disabled Baptist minister.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ida Gorham, Winnfield; a son, Robert Daniel
Gorham of Winnfield; a daughter, Mrs. Carroll Hicks, Winnfield; a sister,
Mrs. Otis Davis of Joyce, and four grandchildren.
