Mrs. J. Gorham Dies; Burial To Be November 12

Mrs. Carrie Gennie Gorham, 60, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1965 in a local
hospital after a short illness.

She was a native of Mississippi but had lived most of her life in Winn Parish. 

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in Hixson Brothers Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Dick DeBusk and Rev. Don McCormick officiating.  Burial
will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery near Pineville.

Survivors are her husband, C. E. "Jack" Gorham; three sons, Clarence of Tioga,
Henry Joe Gorham of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Kenneth Virgil Gorham,
Paradise, La.; two daughters, Mrs. Erma Lee Ondale, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs.
Olive Nell Blackstock, Monroe; one sister, Mrs. Mattie McDavid Gorham, of
Joyce; and nine grandchildren.
