George W. Gray, 79, Dies at His Home on Thursday, Feb.2

Mr. George W. Gray, age 79 years, died at his home near Winnfield at 5:30
o'clock Thursday, February 2.  Funeral services were held at the Jerusalem
Cemetery at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon, the Rev. W. E. Sherwood, Baptist
minister, officiating.

Mr. Gray was a member of the Baptist Church, was connected with all his
community activities, and highly esteemed by all who knew him.

Surviving him are five sons and three daughters as follows: J. B. Gray and J.
H. Gray, Atlanta; G. E. Gray, Oakdale; Lee Gray and Bill Gray, Los Angeles,
Califl; Julia Hyde, Anaheim, Calif.; Mrs. Eunice Huma, Knoxville, Tenn.;
Florence Long, Winnfield.  He also leaves twelve grandchildren.
