He was 81 years old, and was prominent in Negro organizations such as New Hope Baptist Association, and district and state conventions. Last rites were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 1960 at Christian Felloship Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by five daughters, Josephine McCarty, Winnfield, Theresa Coney, Lake Charles, Pearine Collins, Los Angeles, Calif., Ilene Addison and Darlene Warren, New York; six sons, Melvin Graham, San Jose, Calif., Cline and Willard Graham, Los Angeles, Calif.., Curtis Graham, Sunnyville, Calif., Millard Graham, Elmore, Va., and Myrtis Graham, Rayville, La., 44 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
