Brother of Joe Gray Dies In Natchitoches

Jesse Byrd Gray, 84, died November 27, 1965 in a Natchitoches hospital after
a long illness.  He was a retired farmer and a native of Atlanta.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Atlanta Baptist Church with
the Rev. Ray Teal officiating.

Burial was in New Jerusalem Cemetery near Winnfield under direction of
Southern Funeral Home.

Survivors are two sons, Arnold Gray of Oxnard, Calif., and Leon Gray of
Ventura, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Peggy Tolman of Ventura, Calif.; three
brothers, Joseph Gray of Atlanta, La., Lee and Bill Gray of Los Angeles,
Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Florence McDaniel of Shreveport, Mrs. Eunice Hanna
of Hornsby, Tenn., Mrs. Julia Robinson of Anaheim, Calif.; nine grandchildren,
seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
