Gray W. H. Gray, age 78 years and 3 months, of Colfax, died last Saturday at 9 o'clock, and was buried at Oak Grove Cemetery, near Bentley, La., Sunday. Mr. Gray was a brother of G. W. Gray of Winnfield and has many relatives in Winn and Grant Parishes, where he has lived all his life. He was a Confederate soldier having served with the Home Guard when a boy during those trying days between the states. He was married to Miss Marie Turner, who died about three years ago. Six daughters were born to them, three of them surviving. They are Mrs. Mattie Chandler, Mrs Myra Griffin and Mrs. Manye Brister. He is also survived by two brothers, G. W. Gray of Winnfield and Alexander Gray of Texas. Those from Winnfield attending the funeral at Bentley Sunday were Mrs. Florence Long, Mrs. Floyd Long, Mrs. C. B. McDonald, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Gray, J.
