Funeral Rites For D. R. Greer At New Salem

Funeral services for Dolph R. Greer, 64, of Montgomery, were held at 2 p.m.
Sunday in New Salem Baptist Church near Montgomery with the Rev. Kelly Tingle
officiating.

Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home
of Winnfield.

Mr. Greer died at 8:20 p.m. Thursday in Natchitoches Parish Hospital.

A native of Grant Parish, Mr. Greer was a veteran of World War II>

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Irene Greer of Montgomery; one daughter,
Mrs. Gale Peterson of Las Vegas, Nev.; one brother, John Greer of Shreveport;
two sisters, Mrs. C. H. Worley of Shreveport and Mrs. Doreatto Foote of Glen
Rose, Tex., and one grandchild.
