Aunt Vicky Green of South Winnfield Dies Recently

Mrs. Victoria Green, better known as Aunt Vicky Green, of South Winnfield,
died in a Monroe hospital Tuesday as a result of pneumonia.  Funeral services,
under the direction of a Jonesboro funeral home, were held at the Gorhamtown
church of East Winnfield at 2:30 Tuesday evening.  Rev. Alwin Stokes was
in charge of the services.  Interment was in a Gorhamtown Cemetery.

Mrs. Green was living in South Winnfield with her nephew, George Green, prior
to the time she was taken to the hospital.  She had been in ill health several
years before her death.  She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Mrs. Green is survived by one brother, Fletcher Powell of Hodge; one sister,
Mrs. Griffin Crowell of Taylor, La.; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Wesley Dubois, Buster Goins, Robert Goins, Manson Howard,
Radell Young, and Mr. Speed.
