William Elbert Green

William Elbert Green, 62, of Georgetown, died at 5:20 p.m. Friday, October 19,
1973 in his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nellie Green of Georgetown; one son, Donnis
A. Green of Georgetown; three brothers, Tommy Green of Dubach, Marvin Green
and Otho Green, both of Alexandria; one daughter, Mrs. Gloria Barrett of
Georgetown; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Strickland of Clarks, Mrs. Ollie Dempsey
of Shreveport, and Mrs. Hazel Wilson of Jena; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Beulah Baptist Church with
the Rev. Lewis Moffett and Rev. William Smith officiating.  Burial was in Zion
Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Mr. Green was a logging truck driver and a member of Georgetown Masonic Lodge
No. 298.
