Sikes Native Dies In Monroe

Melton Faye Gregory, 37, of Monroe, died at Glenwood Hospital Friday, April
18, 1969, following a short illness.

Funeral services were held _:30 p.m. Sunday at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel,
Monroe.  Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.

He was a native of Sikes and earned his B. S. Degree in Agriculture at LSU in
1958.  A member of the Parkview Baptist Church, he had been a resident of
Monroe for the past six years.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jean Underwood Gregory, Monroe; three daughters,
Donna Lynn, Charlotte, and Brenda Fay; a son, Melton Gene; his mother, Mrs.
Ona Gregory, West Monroe; a sister, Mrs. Gaye Temple, West Monroe; a brother,
Coy Ray Gregory, Norristown, Penn.; and several nieces and nephews.
