Funeral Services Held Monday For Accident Victim

Wright W. Greer, Jr., 37, native of Verda, was killed in an auto accident with
two other people near Lubbock, Texas last Thursday night while enroute to
Shreveport on a vacation.

He was employed in El Paso, Texas, by an oil company.

Funeral services were held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home
chapel in Shreveport, with the Rev. Hoyt Greer, pastor of the Cookstown
Baptist Church, Ruston, officiating.  Burial was in Mars Hill Cemetery in Winn
Parish.

Mr. Greer is survived by his father, Wright Greer, Sr., three brothers, Walter
Burt, John G., of Shreveport, and Dolph R. of Montgomery, two sisters, Mrs.
Dorietta G. Foote, Waco, Texas, and Mrs. C. H. Worley of Shreveport, and a
host of nieces and nephews.
