She was a native of Arkansas, but spent most of her lifetime in Atlanta. Her husband, the late Silas Parker Beasley Gresham, homesteaded in that area. Funeral services were conducted at the Atlanta Baptist Church at 3 p.m. August 2, with the Rev. Dell Durand and the Rev. Ray Teal officiating. Burial was in the Atlanta Cemetery. Acting as pallbearers were grandsons, Melvin Gresham of Jonesboro, Muriel and Shelby Dale Gresham of Angola, Orbries Leary of Starks, Donnie Williams of Winnfield, and a great grandson, Perry Allen, of Atlanta. Mrs. Gresham is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Groves and Mrs. J. H. McElroy of Winnfield, and Mrs. Pearl Boehm of Alexandria; two daughters, Mrs. Cordis Williams, Atlanta, and Mrs. Bertie Leary of Starks; three sons, Carl, Gus, and Pete Gresham, all of Atlanta; 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 21 great-great grandchildren.
