Officiating wee Dr. William Poe, Rev. Grady Welch, and Rev. Earnie Yocum. Burial followed in the Bethlehem Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield. Mrs. Griffin, age 82, of Calvin, died Wednesday, February 15, 1995 in the Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield, La. She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church and was retired from the Winn Parish School System as supervisor of cafeteria at Calvin School. Survivors are one son, Rev. Glen Griffin of Calvin, La.; two daughters-in-law, Catherine Griffin and Joy Nell Griffin, both of Calvin, La., and four grandchildren, David, Liz, and Rickey Griffin of Calvin, La., and Lisa Alexander of Blair, Nebraska; one step granddaughter, Teresa Bailey of Calvin, La., one granddaughter-in-law, Janie Griffin of Calvin, La.; five great grandchildren: Jo Ann and Brian Griffin of Calvin, La., Jon, Lee, and Caleb Alexander of Blair, Nebraska. Pallbearers were David Leggett, J. A. Higgs, Bill Griffin, Ronnie O'Bryan, Junior Williams, Troy Sanderlin, Colin Brown, and Colin Martin. Honorary pallbearers were Malvin Hall, Dr. Julio Iglesias, and Leslie Griffin.
