Funeral Of A. J. Griffin Held At Bethlehem Feb. 3

Funeral services for Albert J. Griffin, 26, of the Bethlehem community, Route
3, Winnfield, were held at 2 p.m. February 3 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church
with the Rev. R. F. Hancock and Rev. Willis Russell officiating.  Burial was
in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

A dragline operator, Mr. Griffin died in a Winnfield hospital February 1.  He
was born and reared in the Bethlehem community and was a member of that
church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Griffin; a son, Kenneth Joe, and a daughter,
Teresa Ann; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Odie Griffin, all of Rt. 3, Winnfield;
four brothers, Leslie, of Winnfield, Jimmy and Delbert of Rt. 3, Winnfield,
and Adolph in the U. S. Air Force; one sister, Mrs. Jimmy Long of
Natchitoches.
