Last Rites For Bill Griffin Held July 26

Last rites for Bill Griffin, 37, of Route 4, Winnfield, who died in a
Shreveport hospital July 25, from a hear ailment, were held July 26, 1952, at
the Bethlehem Baptist Church, at 3 p.m.  Rev. R. F. Hancock, Rev. Hickman,
church pastor, and Rev. Calvin Robinson, officiated.  Burial was in the
Bethlehem Cemetery.

Mr. Griffin was born and reared in the Bethlehem Community and was a member of
the Bethlehem Baptist Church.

He leaves his mother, Mrs. Annie Griffin, Route 4, Winnfield; three brothers,
Lee of Rt. 1, Goldonna; Ellis and Odie Griffin of Route 4, Winnfield; two
sisters, Mrs. Arthur Hodges of Rt. 4, Winnfield, and Mrs. Ashley Higgs, of Rt.
1, Dodson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Burial was under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.
