MRS. ETHELINDA GRIFFIN, 78, CALLED BY DEATH MARCH 10

Mrs. Ethelinda Griffin, 78, died at her home in Ward eight near Calvin, La.,
Wednesday after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held Thursday
afternoon at 4:30 o'clock by Rev. McDaniel, of Winnfield, at the Bethlehem
Baptist Church. Interment was in the Bethlehm cemetery. Edmonds Funeral Home
of Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Griffin has resided in Ward 8, Winn parish, the greater part of her life.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. R.E. Howard, Winnfield; Mrs. H.L.
Chandler, Mrs. P.L. Garrett, and Mrs. S. Garrett, all of Rt. 4 Winnfield; one
son, P.S. Griffin, of Rt. 4 Winnfield, and a number of grandchildren.
