J. M. Griffin, 83, Buried At Pleasant Hill February 20

J. M. Griffin, 83, of Pleasant Hill, died in the Pineville Baptist Hospital
February 18, following an illness of several weeks.  Funeral services were
held Thursday, February 20, at the Pleasant Hill Church and burial was in the
church cemetery.

Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife, four sons, Charles of Cotter, Ark., Lee
of Georgia, Jim of Pleasant Hill, and Joe, who is serving in the army of
occupation in Italy; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Ortez of Pleasant Hill and
Bessie Griffin of Washington, D. C.
