MAXINE JENKINS GRIFFIN
        Funeral services for Maxine Jenkins Griffin, 67, of Natchitoches were
held Friday, June 18 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral
Home in Natchitoches with the Rev. Gerald Long officiating.  Burial will
follow in Jordan Hill Cemetery in Winnfield.
        Mrs. Griffin died at 9:25 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 1999 at Dubuis
Hospital in Alexandria.
        She was a native of Winnfield and a homemaker.  She was also a mother
and grandmother.
        Survivors include her two daughters, Brenda Griffin Dailey of
Natchitoches and Sharon Griffin Landry of Fort Worth, Texas; her two
grandchildren, Shannon Elecia Scroggins and Joseph Shawn Scroggins, both of
Natchitoches.
