Sikes Girl Dies With Typhoid Fever In Shreveport June 26

Vivian Griffin, 17 years, 7 months, and 8 days of age, of Sikes, died in a
Shreveport hospital, June 26, 1935 as a result of typhoid fever.

Funeral services were conducted at Farmerville, La., June 28, 1935 by the Rev.
Bails.  The deceased was a native of Farmerville.

Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Griffin of Sikes; three sisters,
Miss Edna Griffin, Sikes; Mrs. Alton Stevenson, Mangham; Mrs. Sherman Carter, 
Farmerville; and two brothers, Raymond and Hayden Griffin of Delhi.
