Mrs. Grigsby was born in Winnfield 60 years ago and has lived here all her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Rev. H. H. McBride was in charge of the funeral services, held at the Grigsby residence, with Rev. Henry Mott, Rev. Alwin Stokes, and Rev. Fred Flurry assisting. Interment was at the Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Grigsby is survived by her husband, Waco Grigsby; four sons, Edward W. and Ulysses of Winnfield, Joe E. of Shreveport, and W. M. of Lake Charles. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Elsie Dickerson of Shreveport, Mrs. T. R. Stafford of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. W. H. Blakewood of Liberty, Mississippi; two brothers, George and Earl Eagles of Winnfield; and three sisters, Mrs. Guy Johnson of Winnfield, Mrs. J. L. Land of Shreveport, and Mrs. T. G. Smith of Victoria, Texas. Pallbearers were Dr. A. W. Radescich, Johnny Holmes, Shirley Jackson, Edward Horton, Bill Horton, Ivey Keyes, and Clyde DeLoach.
