Waco Grigsby, 82, longtime resident of Winnfield, died in a Shreveport hospital at 4 p.m. February 17, 1960. He had been making his home in Shreveport for the past seven years. While a resident of Winnfield Mr. Grigsby had been employed by the State Highway Department and the U. S. Civil Service. His wife, who succumbed a number of years ago, was the former Miss Irene Eagles. The remains are at Hixson Funeral Home, Winnfield, and last rites will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Hixson Chapel. Burial will be in the Winnfield Cemetery. Survivors include four sons, W. M. of Lake Charles, Ed of Winnfield, Joe and U. S. of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. W. H. Blakewood of Liberty, Miss., Mrs. S. W. Dickerson of Shreveport, and Mrs. T. R. Stafford of Baton Rouge; 12 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren; one brother, Earl Grigsby, Baton Rouge; and one sister, Mrs. E. A. Brackin, Minden.
