James Grigsby Is Buried Near Simsboro July 26

Funeral services for James Grigsby, 86, who died at the home of his son in
law, Dr. E. Bloom, Jonesboro, Monday, were held at the Temple Baptist Church
in Ruston Tuesday afternoon.  The Rev. J. D. Carroll officiated.  Burial was
in the Grigsby cemetery near Simsboro.

Mr. Grigsby, Confederate Veteran, was an uncle of Lee Grigsy of Winnfield.  He
had many friends here and had visited and attended reunions in Winnfield
numbers of times.
