Grigsby, were called to Shreveport Sunday on account of the death of Smith Grigsby, father in law and grandfather, whose funeral was held that day. Mr. Grigsby, age 76, and well known citizen of Shreveport, died Friday night, being found dead in his bed Saturday morning when a servant went to call him for breakfast. Surviving the deceased are his widow and seven children who are: Mrs. Roland Giggs, W. T. Grigsby, Mt. Lebanon, La., W. S. Grigsby and Paxton Grigsby of 1836 Irving Place, Garland G. Grigsby of Lake Charles, La., Mrs. Kate Bragg of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Mrs. George Morgan; also seven grandchildren. His son, Frank Grigsby, who resided here, passed away in 1935. The deceased was a member of the Four Square Bible Class. He was born in Simsboro, La., Sept. 8, 1861.
