M. Grigsby Dies After Long Illness Funeral services for William M. "Slim" Grigsby, 73, of Winnfield, were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home Chapel here with the Rev. W. R. Gage officiating. Burial was in Winnfield Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites. Mr. Grigsby died Saturday, Jun3 12, 1976 at his residence in Winnfield after a lengthy illness. He was a retired electrical contractor, a member of Electricians Local No. 995, Masonic Lodge No. 439 of Lake Charles, a Shriner, and a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Billie Kathleen Grigsby of Winnfield, one son, Bill Grigsby of U. S. A. F., Germany; three half-brothers, Ed Grigsby of Winnfield, Earl Grigsby and Ulysses Grigsby, both of Shreveport; two half sisters, Mrs. Elsie Dickerson of Shreveport and Mrs. Eleanor Stafford of Baton Rouge, and two grandchildren. Members of the Masonic Lodge acted as pallbearers.
