Mrs. Delilah Grissom Buried At Sanders Cemetery, March 20

Funeral services for Mrs. Delilah Grissom, 72 years, 7 months, and 19 days of
age, were held at the Sanders Church last Friday, March 20.  The Rev. A. H.
Cullen, pastor of the Winnfield Baptist Church, had charge of the services. 
Interment was in the Sanders Cemetery.

Mrs. Grissom, who was on a visit to her daughter, Mrs. W. W. Trainer, of
Winnfield, died from a stroke of paralysis.  She was a resident of Grant
Parish, having lived for a number of years near Colfax.  She was a devoted
Christian and a member of the Baptist Church since early womanhood.

The deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. W. W. Trainer, Winnfield, and
Mrs. J. L. Nance, Calvin; two sons, Ed Grissom of Knight, La., and Jack
Grissom of Bend, Oregon; and one sister, Mrs. Susie Frazier of Vienna.
