The Rev. A. H. Cullen, pastor of the Winnfield Baptist Church, had charge of the services. Interment was in the Sanders Cemetery. Mrs. Grissom, who was on a visit to her daughter, Mrs. W. W. Trainer, of Winnfield, died from a stroke of paralysis. She was a resident of Grant Parish, having lived for a number of years near Colfax. She was a devoted Christian and a member of the Baptist Church since early womanhood. The deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. W. W. Trainer, Winnfield, and Mrs. J. L. Nance, Calvin; two sons, Ed Grissom of Knight, La., and Jack Grissom of Bend, Oregon; and one sister, Mrs. Susie Frazier of Vienna.
