Buford A. Guilliams, age 81, of Winnfield, La., died Monday, February  7, 

2005, at Healthsouth Hospital in Winnfield, La.  



Mr. Guilliams was retired from the City of Winnfield and  served on the Winn 

Parish Police Jury.   He was a member of the South Winnfield Baptist Church 

where he was a long time deacon.



Mr. Guilliams is the son of the late James H. and Ella Lashley Guilliams.  



Mr. Guilliams is survived by:  His Wife of 61 years:  Sybil James Guilliams.



Two Sons: Dorman and his wife Susan of Winnfield; and Rodney Guilliams of 

Shreveport.



Five Grandchildren:  Velvet, Suzonne, Lisha, Mandy, and Chance



Six Great Grandchildren



Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at the South Winnfield Baptist 

Church from 8:30AM until time of services.  Funeral services will be at 10AM 

at the South Winnfield Baptist Church with Reverends Jack Miller, Craig James, 

and Kelly Tingle.  Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in 

Winnfield.



Pallbearers will be:  Bobby Wayne Horn, Douglas James, Philip James, Todd 

Roberts, Randy Poisso, and Ty James.



Honorary pallbearers will be: the deacons of South Winnfield Baptist Church:  

Stanley James, Wayne Strickland, Steve Vines, Brett Vines, Leslie Frederick, 

Troy Frederick, Thad Porter, Steve Sanders, J.P. Rudd, and Leslie Frederick Jr.
