Mrs. Essie Lee (Hyde) Guin, age 69, of Winnfield, La., passed away Wednesday, 
February 16, 2005, at Autumn Leaves Nursing Home in Winnfield, La.  She  was a 
member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church.  .

She was the daughter of the late Robert Hyde and the late Ola (Varnell) Hyde.

She is survived by her husband Basil Guin of Winnfield, La.; 

Two Daughters,
Valerie Grace Carrier of Baton Rouge, La.                                     
Rebba Ann Taylor of Texas

Two Sons,
Charles Thomas Forest of Baton Rouge, La.                                     
Chester LeRoy Forest of Baton Rouge, La.

One Brother,
Newton Hyde of Winnfield, La.

Nine Grandchildren
Ten Great-Grandchildren 
Three Step-Daughters
Nine Step-Grandchildren
Five Step-Great-Grandchildren   

   

Services are under the direction of  Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield, La., 
where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM Friday, 
February 18, 2005 and from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Saturday, February 19, 2005.  
Funeral services will be at Southern Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM Saturday, 
February 19, 2005 , with Rev. Kenneth Tarver officiating.  Interment will be 
at Bolton-Teagle Cemetery in Winnfield, La.
